The boil order issued for St. Martinville on Sunday, May 19 has been lifted.
The order was put into place after crews fixed a water main leak in the city.

A water main is leaking in St. Martinville, and crews are working on it now.
Mayor Melinda Mitchell said at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday that the work should be complete, and the water, within 2-3 hours.
After the water is back on, the entire city will be under a boil advisory.
The boil order will be in place until further notice, the mayor said.
