Tonight, the St. Martin Parish Council will discuss whether or not to appeal a court ruling blocking an injunction against two businesses on Lake Martin.
Last month, a judge ruled in favor of Bryan Champagne allowing his Cajun Swamp Tours and the Wharf on Lake Martin to continue operating.

Parish officials argue that Champagne’s construction of a permanent structure violates parish zoning laws that limit business around the lake to portable operations.
The meeting will be held at the parish government building in St. Martinville starting at 5:00 pm.
KATC’s Chris Welty spoke with Parish President Chester Cedars about the judge’s decision in April.
