UPDATE: The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office says Ryan Bonin was arrested by deputies this morning. Bonin was wanted by the department for failing to register as a sex offender and other outstanding warrants.

Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who is wanted on several outstanding warrants.
Ryan Bonin, 34, who was last known to be residing in the 1300 Block of Bayou Portage Road, St. Martinville, is named in warrants accusing him of failing to register as a sex offender, simple battery, violation of a protective order, violation of a temporary restraining order, and failing to appear on numerous charges accusing him of letting his dogs run loose.

Records show Bonin was convicted in 2005 of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
