On January 9, deputies responded to a report of a burglary and vehicle theft at a home on Main Highway near Porter Street.

Deputies say the crime took place in the early hours of the morning and that Galentine left his car in the homeowner’s driveway before driving off in the 2017 Ford Fusion.

Two days later, deputies located the stolen car, which had been burned, near Lake Fausse Point State Park.

Galentine is wanted for simple burglary, felony theft and simple arson.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Galentine, they are asked to contact the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 394-3071 or via private message on the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
