Earlier today, we reported that the St. Martin Parish Industrial Water System and St. Martin Parish Catahoula District 4 Water system were off as of noon. The systems experienced some equipment failure during the night, and the pressure has dropped. Crews are on scene now, trying to resolve the problem. They expect water to be back on by nightfall.
When the water is back on, residents should not drink it or use it for brushing your teeth or cooking without boiling for one full minute.
Another notice will be sent once the advisory is lifted.
