A resident in Breaux Bridge was met with a reptilian surprise on their front porch Friday.
A patrol deputy with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office shared the photo of an alligator resting on a residents front steps.
The gator was removed from the home on Poydras Hwy in St. Martin Parish by the patrol deputy. They are unsure how far the alligator may have traveled to end up at the home.
Officials remind residents to be careful and always look before stepping out the front door.
