Last week, Ashley Blackwell, 26, was booked with principal to attempted second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.

At the time of the shooting, Breaux Bridge Police said the shooting at the Rees Street truck stop was related to a dispute.

The man who was shot, and the man who shot him were in some kind of argument, but they didn’t know each other, a spokesman said. Police were called to the scene at 10 p.m.  They found a man with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
