Saturday is the final day of the 27th annual Kiwanis Pepper Festival in St. Martinville.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE in St. Martin Parish Friday morning with details on this weekend’s schedule of events.
Those events include live music and performances by local dance groups, arts and crafts, a carnival, vendors, food, drinks and a pepper eating contest. Check out theFacebook page for more info and schedules.
Saturday’s schedule can be viewed below:
Festival grounds open at 10:00 am and Carnival rides open at noon.
Local dance groups perform throughout the day
Pepper Jelly Band 5-6:30pm
Sideshow 7-8:30pm
Pepper eating contest 8:45pm ($200 1st prize)
Geno Delafosse and French Rockin Boogie 9-10:30pm
Festival grounds close at 11pm
