Eunice Police are looking for four men following a shooting that happened during a home invasion.

Chief Randy Fontenot says the suspects knocked on the door of a home in the 200 block of Childs Street around 10:30 Monday night.

When the victim opened the door Fontenot says the suspects forced their way in. During a struggle between the victim and the suspects, the victim was shot in the leg. The suspects then fled from the home on foot.

Two people were home at the time of the incident.

Fontenot says the suspects allegedly told the victims repeatedly to “give it to me” during the home invasion. The victims told police they were unsure of what the suspects were talking about.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the Eunice Police Department at (337) 457-2626.
