St. Landry Tourism will soon have a new director.
St. Landry native, music and culture enthusiast, and reporter Herman Fuselier is taking over that position that was previously held by Celeste D. Gomez. Gomez announced her retirement in September and will leave that position which she held for 21 years at the end of this year.
Fuselier says his mission is to continue to promote the food, music, and culture that draws visitors to St. Landry from all over the world.
His first day on the job Decemberber 17, 2018.
