Opelousas Police say they have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting near St. Landry Catholic Church.
Police have arrested 43-year-old Darrell Davis of Opelousas. He is charged with second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons and dangerous instrumentalities.
Killed in that shooting was 34-year-old Jimmy Jones of Texas. The shooting occurred on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Read more here
Davis has been booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail.
