Some parts of Port Barre will not have water tomorrow morning.
Water will be shut off to Hazel, Martin Luther King, Lydia, Josie and VFW streets at 8 a.m.
The water is being shut off because of a break in the main water line on the corner of Saizan Avenue and Lydia Street.
Port Barre’s town hall, library, and police and fire departments will also be without water.
Officials are hoping the water will be turned back on in a timely manner if crews don’t run into any problems.
Once the water is restored, the mentioned areas will be under a boil advisory as a precaution until further notice.
Those living on those streets are urged to fill up bathtubs and or containers with water tonight.
