Most of Louisiana woke up on Monday to a frozen world outside their doors.
Sleet, freezing rain and snow piled up from North Louisiana, down to the Gulf Coast. Viewers were eager to send in their photos and video to KATC and we will be compiling them here.

Our neighbors to the north saw a good bit of snow on Monday morning. Video from Mark Suire shows snow coming down at his home near Centenary College in Shreveport. Suire is an Abbeville native and is head softball coach at the college.
A peaceful winter scene followed much of the heavy snowfall in north Louisiana on Monday morning. Penny Bennett shared video of her parent's house in Shreveport.
Ashton Latiolais captured the winter weather scene in Washington, La this morning.
Ice accumulated on roadways, rooftops and lawns in Lafayette. Here's video from Peter Bello of the scene at his home:
