The Alexandria VA Health Care System announced on Tuesday that Louisiana veterans now have access to a new mobile app that enables them to get instant access to VA health care information right from their phone.

"We are committed to a connected health strategy that puts Veterans at the center of health care," says Peter C. Dancy, Jr., Medical Center Director. "Users of the new "MyVA Info" app will have easier access to health information, guidance and resources when they need it most."

The "MyVA Info" app offers mobile-friendly features to help veterans, including:

  • Healthcare news from the Alexandria VA Health Care System
  • Find VA healthcare (and other VA) locations quickly
  • Easily locate VA resources including:
  • How to apply for VA health care
  • Information on the Caregiver Support Program

The app enables access to veterans to a variety of healthcare and facility services.

"We've listened to what our veterans have said. We're proud to provide them with this information with a touch of a button," said Dancy.

The app is now available for iOS and Android devices.

The Alexandria VA Health Care System services veterans in Leesville, Jennings, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and Natchitoches.
