LAFAYETTE — The victim in a Lafayette shooting has died nearly a month after being shot.
According to Lafayette police, the shooting happened in the 200 block of Felicie Dr. on November 27, 2023. Colby Mitchell, 38 has been in a local hospital since the incident took place.
As a result of Mitchell’s death, the suspect 45-year-old James Guillory is now facing 2nd degree murder charge.
