Friends of Lafayette Animal Shelter named finalist in national Cat Pawsitive contest

Friends of Lafayette Animal Shelter (FLASh) has been named as a finalist in The Jackson Galaxy Project’s 2nd Annual Cat Pawsitive National High-Five Day contest.

The organization is one of 25 finalists vying for a chance to win a $5,000 grant.

According to a release, Animal Planet’s Jackson Galaxy and celebrity pet Lil BUB handpicked 25 finalists from more than 200 entries.

From now until June 2, the public can view and vote on the 25 finalists at felinehighfive.com and the top three entries with the most votes will be announced on June 3.

The videos are of cat’s high-fiving.
