Dozens of first responders rode through Lafayette in memory of two of their own.

The Gulf Coast Brotherhood Riders honored Corporal Michael Middlebrook and Wildlife and Fisheries Agent Immanuel Washington.

The group rides across the region to make sure those officers are never forgotten.

“We’re all one family, you know,” said Cliff Comeaux, Gulf Coast Brotherhood Riders. “We’re all first responders. We wear different badges, we work in different jurisdictions, we have different job descriptions. But when it comes to protecting people and you know, try to keep handles on society and make everything safe for everyone…that’s what it’s all about.”
