The annual hibiscus show and sale was held today at Cathedral Carmel school.
The Mike Bernard Acadiana Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society hosted the event this afternoon.
The event started this morning with a bloom judging, and the show and sale began at 1 p.m.
Visitors could get plants and fertilizers, but also something more valuable: expert advice and tips for growing the flowering plants.
