The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office has recovered an unoccupied vehicle from a bayou in Carencro.
The incident happened around 9:00 this morning near the 400 block of N. Wilderness Trail.
A spokeswoman tells me the driver of the vehicle was in a driveway at a home and a bug flew into the car, she jumped out and the car rolled into the bayou.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash.
