Cities across Acadiana observed the National Day of Prayer today.
Local community and church leaders gathered together to pray for the nation, state and community across the United States today.
In Lafayette, One Minute Ministry coordinated the National Day of Prayer in Lafayette at Girard Park Pavilion at noon.
The celebration was free and open to the public.
Participating in the event were Pastor Daniel Kelly of The Harvest Church; Lafayette Fire Chaplain David Sinegal; Pastor Dale Hoffpauir of Nouvelle Church; Pastor Johann Sathre of Our Savior’s Church Midtown and Nathan Sam & Jessika Gayden.
