Organizers with Festival International and friends are celebrating the upcoming event with a party at the Mouton Plantation tonight.
Mr. Jean-Louis Testud, president of the wine society of Suresnes, France, is inducting several Festival International friends, sponsors and patrons into the Suresnes Wine Society of France. previous inductees and other special international guests are also in attendance.
Suresnes is a city on the west side of Paris with a population of about 50,000 people. The Suresnes vineyard is owned and managed by the municipality, a very rare occurrence in the wine business. Every year, they produce some 5000 bottles of white wine that is mostly consumed in the Paris area.
