A student at Paul Breaux Middle School is being disciplined after possibly having a gun on campus yesterday.
A spokesman with the Lafayette Parish School System couldn’t confirm if the gun was indeed on campus; however, he did say the Lafayette Police Department was notified and conducted a thorough investigation.
According to the school, administration was notified of the incident by students today and then sent out a letter, informing parents.
The student will be disciplined based upon school board policy.
