The Lafayette Police Tactical Narcotics Team executed a Narcotic Warrant Round-Up today, and 17 people were arrested.
Operation “Wake Up” focused on identifying suspects responsible for the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in the city limits of Lafayette, a release states. These types of illegal activities have direct correlation to violent crimes in the city. As a result, 16 narcotic arrest warrants were executed in effort to locate these suspects, the release states.
