UPDATE: All lanes of I-10 East are now OPEN.
DOTD says that congestion has cleared following two 18-wheeler crashes earlier this morning. Crews were also working to clean up a diesel spill in the area. Congestion reached beyond LA 95 (Duson exit) for a short time Wednesday.
State Police Troop I was on the scene. Troopers say no one was injured in the crashes.
Congestion has cleared on I-10 East between LA 95 (Duson) and LA 182 (N. University Avenue).

State Police Troop I says that two 18-wheeler crashes are blocking the outside lane of I-10 East between Duson and Ambassador Caffery Pkwy.
Troop I says that crews are also working to clean a diesel spill as a result of the crash. Motorists can expect heavy delays in the area while the scene is being cleared.
There were no injuries as a result of the crashes.
State Police say the crashes and spill should be cleared within the hour.
