Women on Wednesday is in Lafayette as part of the town hall across the state.
The organization is meeting to give residents of Louisiana a chance to meeting activist and organizers who are helping to raise awareness on policies to improve health and wellbeing of Louisiana women.
There, experts and community leaders will be answering questions from those who attend.
The meeting was held at South Louisiana Community College from 6-8 pm.
