It was a special day for two Mardi Gras revelers in Lafayette.
On March 6, while revelers were catching throws along the parade route in Lafayette, one lucky couple was saying yes to spending their lives together.
Byron Marks got some help from Comedian Byrd Man who was performing along the parade route to propose to Charlene.
“Baby, I love you with all my heart. Its been a great three and a half years and it would give me the greatest honor for me to spend the rest of my life with you…would you be my wife?” Marks says getting down on one knee.
Charlene gives him a yes.
“She said yes!!” Byrd Man says as the couple embraces.
