Families took Lafayette by storm today for Family Adventure Day.
It was Healing House’s eleventh year putting on the event.
Over 40 different locations in Lafayette had activities for families to enjoy.
Participants were given a map and had to complete at least four of the Family Adventure Day activities.
Maps had to turned in at Healing House or the McDonald’s on Kaliste Saloom by 6 p.m. for a chance to win a prize package.
Today’s winners were:
- The Alex Crochet Family from New Iberia
- The Steven Bowen Family from Lafayette
- The Louis Mahfouz Family from Lafayette
All proceeds benefit Healing House, a nonprofit that helps families through the grieving process after losing a parent or sibling.
