Scott Fire Department, Lafayette Hazmat, and LSP Hazmat Officials are on the scene of an overturned tractor-trailer in Scott.

The fire department says the crash occurred in the 800 Block of Heide Circle. The vehicle is said to be transporting Glycolic Acid.
Crews are currently in the process of stopping material currently leaking from the vehicle. Once complete the vehicle will be offloaded to another tractor trailer.
The process is expected to take most of the day to complete. Scott Fire asks that residents stay away from the area while that work is being done.
Fire officials say the incident is isolated and that no evacuations are necessary.
