Southern rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd are bringing their farewell tour to the Cajundome this May.
The band’s “Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour” will make its way to Lafayette on Saturday, May 18. The concert begins at 7:00 pm.
During their Cajundome performance, the band will be joined Hank Williams, Jr.
The group first formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1964.
Tickets for the concert go on sale to the public on Friday, February 8 at 10:00 am. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased on Thursday, February 7 beginning at 10:00 am.

LPSS graduations, which were scheduled for May 18, were pushed up to May 10 and 11 to make room for the concert.
