Camelot expands to add rehab; public invited to open house

Camelot Senior Living has completed its expansion of Magnolia Estates.

The expansion, Camelot Rehabilitation at Magnolia Park, adds a to the existing 63,000 square foot facility on Dulles Drive. At 28,000 square feet, the Post-Acute Transitional care and Therapy Center addition houses multiple private bedrooms, a lobby, several gathering areas and a large dining area.

The facility will have 40 private bedrooms, and a community  built specifically for rehabilitation and therapy to help Acadiana seniors achieve their goals. Camelot Rehabilitation offers seniors a short term stay following injury, surgery, or illness after they leave the hospital. It includes a therapy gym and a team of certified therapists who specialize in physical, speech and occupational therapy. The amenities include a dining room with a fireplace, quiet areas with sofas for reading, and large porches and gardens.

The ribbon cutting ceremony and community open house will take place on Thursday, January 31st at 11:30 am. The First Baptist Christian School High School Choir will perform during the ceremony.
