Today is the last day to shop at Banana Republic in the Acadiana Mall.
The store will be closing its doors for good when the mall closes today.
Gap and Gap Kids will close Monday, Jan. 26.
It was announced last month that the Lafayette locations of Banana Republic and Gap would be closing in January.
At the time, a spokesperson for Gap Inc. said, “We always evaluate our store fleet to ensure we have the right stores in the right locations. The decision to close a store is always difficult, and we hope our customers continue to shop with us at nearby stores or online.”
