An organization promoting Creole culture in Southwest Louisiana is looking for new members.
C.R.E.O.L.E Inc. is a volunteer group which seeks to identify, preserve and promote Creole culture including music art dance social systems/ socialization, food, traditions, architecture, and literature.
The membership drive will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Lafayette Science Museum from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The group is slated to meet quarterly with board meetings every month. Food will be provided at the meeting.
Membership is open to all ethnicities.
