Cox Communications announced today its recent hire of David D’Aquin who will be based in Lafayette as the Public Affairs Manager.
In his new role, D’Aquin will focus on community relations, communications, government affairs and employee engagement among other things.
“Cox’s commitment to Acadiana and its future attracted me to the company,” D’Aquin said.
D’Aquin comes to Cox from the USA TODAY NETWORK, where he served as the Gulf Region Video Director. He’s a UL graduate who’s been working in media for more than twenty years. David reported on Louisiana National Guard troops at Camp Taji in Iraq and received a Civilian Service Medal of Honor. D’Aquin currently serves on the boards of Junior Achievement of Acadiana, Downtown Lafayette Unlimited, Vitalant, and Krewe of Apollo.
