A new bridge is going up at Moncus Park, historically known as the Horse Farm, on Johnston Street.
Today the bridge over Coulee Mine is being installed. A huge crane placed the 84-foot precast concrete girders. We have a crew there, and we’ll have more later today on KATC TV3, but here’s some video from Moncus Park Executive Director EB Brooks.
Moncus Park officials say they plan to open the first phase of the project this year. Here’s a link to the details.
