Academy Sports + Outdoors surprised 30 students at SJ Montgomery Elementary School today with bicycles and helmets as part of Academy’s annual holiday bike donation program.
The entire holiday bike donation program benefits 5,500 students and provides local schools in the 16 states where Academy has stores. The program is a way to reward children during the holidays for perfect attendance, academic performance, good behavior, and/or need.
“All of our students work really hard and are really well-behaved, but these students have just stood out and really worked extra hard. To be able to reward them at Christmastime is just phenomenal,” said Principal Stephanie Robin.
