There are some sad Cajun fans in New Orleans tonight after their flight to Orlando to see the Cure Bowl was canceled.
According to Cajun fan Joelle Boudreaux, Frontier Airlines staff informed her and the other travelers the flight was being canceled due to mechanical issues and that the pilot didn’t feel safe operating the plane.
Boudreaux says the flight was made up of mostly Cajun and Tulane fans as the two teams prepare to face off in the bowl game tomorrow.
She says some fans are renting a car and making the 9-hour drive to Orlando, and some, including herself, are trying to get on another flight.
Frontier Airlines’ next flight to Orlando isn’t until 7:42 p.m. tomorrow, and the game is at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Boudreaux says Frontier Airlines provided them with vouchers.
