Broussard Mayor Charles Langlinais is starting a new chapter in his life.
After 30 years in office, his family, friends and collegues gathered at Walk-On’s following tonight’s city council meeting to roast him but also commemorate his years of service to the city.
Langlinais looked back on what it took to successfully run the city for three decades.
“Well, you’ve got to get involved and not complain about situations. You’ve got to contribute. And, that’s kind of when I started doing that. And, ever since, I’ve always tried to get my council and people around me to be involved. Instead of moaning and crying how bad it is, be part of the solution, said Mayor Langlinais.
