With the predicted foul weather for Saturday night, the Kiwanis of Lafayette Movies in the Parc will be moving indoors to the Lafayette Science Museum (433 Jefferson Street).

On the big screen will be the Christmas classic Prancer, a movie about a farm girl who nurses a wounded reindeer back to health. She hopes the reindeer is one of Santa’s helpers, and her holiday spirit inspires those around her. It’s a Christmas adventure for the whole family.

The movie night is typically held at Parc Sans Souci in downtown Lafayette. The Lafayette Science Museum is located at 433 Jefferson Street. Admission for the movie is $3 per person, and children under the age of five enter free.

Despite the relocation, there will be the same treats and fun as other Movies in the Parc events. Hot dogs, popcorn, and hot chocolate will be served in the concessions area, and don’t miss Christmas Trivia before the movie. The winner will get free popcorn throughout the movie.

Doors open at 5:00 PM an the movie starts at 6:00 PM.
