The Lafayette High School Mighty Lion Marching Band is now home after performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The band received a police escort back to school. Family and friends packed the front circle of LHS and waved banners, cheered and clapped for the students as they got off the bus.
This was the first time LHS was invited to march in the parade and more than 200 students participated.
