Tonight, dozens of children are wearing smiles thanks to the Woman’s Foundation in Lafayette.
The organization visited Women’s and Children’s Hospital to deliver Thanksgiving bags to patients, parents and nurses in the pediatric wing.
They say this is the perfect way to get themselves and the families into the holiday spirit.
“Thanksgiving is in a couple of days and we just want to let them know we’re thinking about them we care, we’re praying for them,” said Terri Roberts, Woman’s Foundation. “It can be rough being a family in the hospital but we want them to know we’re thinking about them and just to bring a smile to their face this holiday season.”
