Student-athletes at UL now have a new place to study.
Tonight, the Louisiana Athletics Department unveiled its state-of-the-art Student-Athlete Academic Services Center.
It’s an office suite on the 3rd floor of Edith Garland Dupré Library.
According to a spokesperson with the department, the space offers student-athletes a study hall, classroom space, academic advisors and tutor sessions.
The spokesperson says this is the first time in the center’s history that all of those options are offered in one area.
