LAFAYETTE PARISH – The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit arrested three Lafayette Parish men on Wednesday for multiple counts of possessing child pornography, according to police.
Gregory Graffeo , 24 of Youngsville, was arrested for 42 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles. More than 40 images involving young children in a sexual manner on a social media account. Three email accounts were located on the suspect’s cell phone that were used to open the social media accounts, according to the arrest affidavits.
Bobbie Melancon Jr., 22 of Lafayette, was arrested for 50 counts possession of pornography involving juveniles. A search warrant was issued for Melancon after he allegedly uploaded child porn images to a Google Photos Account. According to the affidavit, agents discovered more than 50 sexually explicit images of children on a cell phone.
Trevor Engle, 22 of Lafayette, was arrested for 50 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles. Agents executed a search warrant at Engle’s home in reference to child porn on a social media account. During the investigation prior to the search warrant, agents observed more than 41 sexually explicit images involving children, according to the arrest affidavit. The suspect allegedly admitted to agents the social media account belonged to him. Investigators located an additional 25 images on the suspect’s cell phone. Agents also found a handwritten notebook containing blog sites he frequently visited via his social media accounts.
All three men were booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail.
