Yesterday we reported on schools in Lafayette showing their Ragin’ Cajun pride, and now it’s the businesses’ turn.
Judges went around the city to see how they’re celebrating UL’s homecoming week for day two of the Paint the Town Red event.
Like the schools, organizations decorated their buildings and performed skits for the annual tradition.
“This is our week to really showcase the university, showcase our athletic program, invite our alumni and our supporters back to the university,” said Jennifer LeMeunier, Executive Director Alumni Affairs at UL. “Come on our campus, see all of the improvements, support our football team. But it’s a very special meaning for our alumni to call this place home.”
