LAFAYETTE–A late-night shooting has left a 21-year-old woman in critical condition in an area hospital.
That shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Buttigig Street and Cajundome Boulevard.
The victim was shot once in the upper body.
Police say the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic dispute. However, police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
So far, police say they have not arrested anyone in connection with this case.
