The UL Lafayette Athletics Department will be collecting supplies this week to send to those affected by Hurricane Florence.
Supplies will be collected two days this week at Cajun Field before Saturday’s game against Coastal Carolina. Coastal Carolina University is located about 80 miles to the Southwest of Wilmington, North Carolina where Hurricane Florence made landfall on Friday, September 14. The collected supplies will be heading to the area with the team after Saturday’s game.
Those interested in helping out can drop off supplies on Friday, September 21, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Gate 2 located off of Bertrand Drive. On Saturday, September 22, drop-offs can be made at Gates 1, 2, 3, and 4 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
