A man was arrested after crashing into a school bus in the 400 block of West Willow Street in Lafayette Tuesday afternoon.
The four students on board attended N. P. Moss Preparatory Academy. No one on the bus was injured, stated Joe Craig, Assistant Superintendent of Administration for Lafayette Parish School System.
The driver of the car was arrested on charges of OWI (first offense), left of center, and possession of schedule II narcotics, according to Cpl. Bridget Dugas, spokesperson for the Lafayette Police Department.
The passenger in the car was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
