The Lafayette Fire Department remembered those who lost their lives on the 17th anniversary of 9/11.
The memorial was held in Downtown Lafayette Tuesday morning. Services included a moment of silence, words of reflections, and words encouragement.
The public was invited to attend.
The Lafayette 9/11 monument was erected in 2002. Memorial wreaths were laid at the Parc Sans Souci 9/11 monument in honor of the lives lost.
