Lafayette deputies search for vehicle burglary suspect

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man wanted in multiple vehicle burglaries in the parish.

Deputies say that on August 16, 2018, they investigated multiple vehicle burglaries at Bayou Wilderness RV Resort on N. Wilderness Trail in which forced entry was made into four vehicles.

Later that day,  detectives say the man was captured on Walmart security cameras in Sulphur using a victim’s American Express Card.

Detectives learned that KOA in Scott and Frog City RV Park in Duson were also burglarized in the early morning hours of August 16, 2018. They believe these burglaries are connected.
