The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a shooting this morning on Rue Septembre in Scott.
John Mowell, Public Information Officer for the department says that at 5:15 am deputies received a call about a home invasion on Rue Septembre in Scott.
A 35-year-old male victim was located at the scene by deputies with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information on the shooting or the home invasion contact the deputies at 337-232-9211.
