The LPSS transportation department says they have launched an official Facebook page for sharing daily announcements and reports on transportation developments.
The page called “LPSS Daily Transportation Report” will be a public group that anyone can join to receive those updates.
LPSS says that reports and announcements will include changes to bus numbers, mechanical breakdowns, and late routes, among others. The school system says that the page will be a way for them to alert families in real time about transportation issues and make important updates throughout the day.
All those with children who ride a bus are encouraged to join the group.
As of Thursday morning, the group had over 200 members and had already posted several updates.
